To extort a bribe, the means might be to steal, beg or even lie. This is a common sight which you normally find while policemen display a ‘make-believe world of regularities’. And all these for a few rupees that eventually erode faith in the public system. Sadly this individual after being chased was made to pay double of the usual bribe amount. He lost his money, of course, but also his trust in the system.
