Atleast recharge my mobile if you have less money!!!

Never give a cop a lift! That’s the lesson one of our respondents from Andhra Pradesh learnt after a bitter experience with a man in khaki.
Writing in from Khammam district in the State, the respondent recalls an emergency situation when his friend suffered from stomach problems and needed tablets urgently. Opting to stay by the side of his ailing friend, he gave an acquaintance his motorbike and asked him to rush to a medical shop for tablets.
The rider on the bike was stopped enroute by a cop. Thankfully, the latter only wanted a lift. After receiving the favour, the cop asked the rider for his licence! The rider explained the urgency of the situation and his inability to carry his licence along. The cop then coolly made a bribe demand for Rs 200. The rider did not have the money on his person and called our respondent to bail him out of the crisis.
Our complainant rushed to the spot. The cop expectantly looked to him for the money. When he explained to him that he too did not have the money, the police man brought down his demand to Rs 100. Finding a negative response to it, he then demanded Rs 30 to buy a recharge card for his mobile!
Our respondent persisted that he did not have even that money. He asked the cop to check out his pockets if his words did not carry weight. The cop literally checked the pockets! After finding nothing, he let the duo leave.
One is forced to agree with our writer when he bills the cop as the ‘worst person in the world.’ For a verbatim report, click: http://www.ipaidabribe.com/bribe-central/worst-person-world
