Moving to an alien city and getting acquainted to it can either be a difficult or easy transition for many, depending on how welcoming and accommodating the citizens of the new city are. Sadly, this citizen who was new to Chennai stepped on the wrong foot of the city’s transport authorities. His lack of awareness on the ticketing system in the local transport cost him more than the three hundred rupees that were forcibly taken from him. Not an ideal welcome expected by visitors in an unknown territory!
