It seems as though the attention of our customs officials has turned from extortion to chauvinism. This citizen from New Delhi narrates her experience of never to have bribed a customs official. What’s worse is that she had to bear with sexist and outlandish comments while flying alone. Not demanding bribes from individuals is quite commendable. But the respect they just earned for not being corrupt gets maligned by such sexist attitudes. Don’t you agree?
