Defiance pays off

“I refused to pay the Rs, 1,000 and waited for 90 minutes. Finally, the officer seeing I was not going to budge let me go. …..So what did I learn - not to take the short cut and instead fight this menace which is destroying our country. And the other lesson - ALWAYS note down the name/badge number of the officer (which I missed doing).”
This respondent from New Delhi had the nerve to fight corruption. His plain refusal put the corrupt officials to shame and let him go. .
