Many of us have seen this and many of us still do this!
If the bus ticket is 15 bucks, conductor takes 10 bucks and doesn't give the ticket. which means we give 10 bucks to the conductor but use the transport made available to us by Government. This might seem to be a small issue, but this is loss to the Government. I think this is also a kind of corruption, may be at small level but causing a big loss to the Government. We are saving our 5 rupees but per day public transport may be facing loss of thousands.
I had a very bad experience with one of the bus conductors. He ignored me when I asked his name so I don't know the name. But I have the bus number. It's KA 01 FA 943. He took 5 rupees from many people and didn't give the tickets. the ticket was Rs 6. none of them objected but i opted for ticket rather than paying to this corrupted conductor. This is not the 1st time I faced this issue but see it everyday, in both AC/Non-AC types of bus. BMTC should take some action against this.
