No License without Money
Now in my town, Bankura you will find some people around the licensing office. This people will take some Rs. 300-350(officially we only have to to pay Rs. 20 to get a learner license) to help you in the process of getting a driving license. They are not official people, though they can go anywhere, to anyone inside the office. So how they help? Let the name of the person who help you is 'X'. They will provide you the form and will help you to fill it and the most important thing is that, they will write the name 'X' on the top of the form.
Now of-course this type of jobs are definitely illegal and while applying for the driving license I didn't want to give that 350 bucks to them (definitely motor vehicle officer will going to share some part). So I applied in the official manner, and bought a form for Rs 20.
In the oral exam the officer asked me 3 questions, first two I answered correctly and wasn't able to answer third one. When I asked him to ask me more question, he behaved very badly, and asked why I haven't took help from Mr. X. So I got failed. But situation was not same for those who took the help of Mr. X. The officer only asked one question to them and even that question is same for all the people and they got passed.
Its okay to get failed as I wasn't able to answer all the question. But is it justified to have different process for people who gave rupees to Mr. X and who haven't? Action should be taken against this third person, illegal Mr. X and motor vehicle officer. But no one is there to take necessary steps :(
