I made an illegal u-turn just before Siddhivinayak temple. Two cops were waiting just a small distance from the u-turn and they stopped me. The cop took my license and told me he did not have his receipt book with him. He gave me two options: 1. Either pickup the license with the receipt for the fine next day from the police station or 2. Pay Rs. 100 forget about the receipt and be on my way! I had driven to mumbai from Pune for a wedding and was going to head back the same day. He knew that because of the car's number plate. I gave him Rs.100, he told me the address to get to the wedding venue and I was on my way.
