How to Change Address in a Driving Licence in Delhi

In case one has to change his address in the driving licence, follow the below mentioned procedure:

·         Head to the respective RTO office in your zone

·         Collect the form for the change of address from the counter and fill in the details along with the fees mentioned

·         The concerned RTO officer will verify your Driving Licence with the concerned issuing RTO officer based on the location. This process will take 3-4 days.

·         After this process, submit your new address proof and any one among the below mentioned documents along with the Driving Licence

i. Ration Card
ii. Electoral Roll
iii. LIC Policy
iv. Passport
v. Electricity bill or Telephone bill.
vi. Pay slip issued by Govt. Office or a local body.
vii. House tax Receipt.
viii. School Certificate.
ix. Birth Certificate
x. Affidavit given by the Magistrate or Notary Public.

After verification, an endorsement of change of address on same DL will be given (no new photo required)

Note: In case you do not wish to carry the endorsement letter along with the Driving Licence with the old address mentioned, you can get a new DL card for a fee of Rs.230/-
