I am a NRI,purchased a flat for parents in Ahmedabad. At registar's office,main person in the office asked for 3000 rupees to get prompt service.to finish the process took less than 45 minutes, otherwise it will take 3-5 hours. this is done openly and everyone is aware of it. total ave.take per day is around 2to 3 lakhs by the registar. also I had to face with flat seller to pay 40% in cash of the purchase price. this is all over India. I am pretty sure Mr ******* Modi as well our PM are aware of this.
