Refused to pay corrupt Punjab traffic police
Traveling from HP to Punjab via Pathankot, having paid Punjab Tax we were stopped by 3 Policemen, who were not interested in our correct paperwork but wanted a bribe to be allowed to proceed. This was resisted with a threat to report them and we were then waved on. Wish I could have snapped them on my mobile to report them - but to whom?
We are visitors from England and have been told that it is easy to spot a corrupt policeman/woman - as thay are invariably fat and well fed!
