Bribe to get electicity in Gurgaon

Same as usual common man story in India ...I bet millions have a similar story as mine ...One fine day, I came from Office to home and found that there are no electricity ...I inquired and found that the meter needs to be changed... There was no notification that this will happen ...Next day, i went to Electricity department Office where a junior officer is asking for Rs 1000 bribe to reinstate the electricity..you have no choice ..unless you pay or live without electricity ..I was amazed to see that this guy was taking money openly ...It appeared that paying a bribe is part of a government authorized process which these guys follows w/o hesitiation ....This is just one simple story ...In India you have to pay bribe in every walk of life ...If it is managed by government officials ....
