Issue of marriage certificate

All documents intact, still Registrar of Marriage - M/s. R. Prabhavathi and her assistant M/s. Shabana Taj demanded a total bribe of Rs. 2500 for issuing our marriage certificate. She said that all other couples are paying the same amount and pointed to couple who applied before us. On declining to pay, they asked us to register the marriage elsewhere.
