Liquor Permit

Reported on November 8, 2018 from Margao , Goa  ι Report #192290

Officers posted at Mollem Checkpost (Goa) at about 1:00 PM on 8/11/2018 demanded that I pay 200/- for carrying 2 liquor bottles, meant for personal use, out of Goa. No receipt; no permit. Paid 200/- to the bespectacled inspector seated at the checkpost office for this so-called "permit" but got nothing in return. Was asked to leave. Had two kids with me. Couldn't wait to argue or reason it out with them.

It was just a bribe. I understand taking 2 bottles home for personal use is not a crime. One was a local feni bottle that does fall under IMFL category.
