My first attempt to get passport for my kid is an eye opener to me. After 12 hours struggle and long waits and to those meek responses i finally realized to take the way things work there.
Found an agent and paid him 4000 and got my name added to my spouse passport. They didn't even checked marriage certificate....they just asked whether it is there or not.
they close gates by 11:20 and ask people to come next day. it supposed to be till 12:00 but who can ask it is their rule.
and paid another 4500 to get passport for my kid...n waiting fro the past 15 days...system showing passport was ready etc...
They delibrately delay so that you go to an agent so that they can get their share... :-)
it's my first bribe and i am 32... ( Not bad at all.....isn't it i spent half of my life without bribing )
they have few rules printed in a white paper which give no info about reference to passport act.
