I am outraged at the level corruption in India. My father is a small time businessman in Vijayawada. He had a workshop and approached Vijayawada electricity department for 3 phase current. The official responsible for granting it has demanded Rs 40000 and with much difficulty agreed to give the connection up on paying Rs 20000. I was appalled but could not stop my dad from paying bribe as workshop is our livelihood.
