Police officer demanding a bribe claiming a 2 way street is a.one way street

New alipore road - Kolkata near taratala crossing.

Police officer stops the car and says pay Rs 200 or I will confiscate your license. When demanded a reason, the one given was " this is a one way road " ... With a yellow line diving the two sides of the road and no "one way" signs.
