Registration of property sale deed

Had to pay a bribe to the registrar and his team for registering the sale deed on a property I bought in Mumbai. Absolutely hated it! But didn't have a choice. Or may be I did and just did what was everybody said was normal. I think the more things can be done online in dealings with bureaucracy the less opportunities for corruption.
