The struggle for my Passport

Reported on March 12, 2011 from Chennai , Tamil Nadu  ι Report #26593

Hi all,
I am here to share my very bad experience with the Regional Passport office in Chennai. As i had planned to study abroad i needed a passport. I applied for it in the month of December 2007 and did not get a response until march 2008. I never knew what was happening. I tried contacting the office and you people know how our great government officials behave. It was of no hope. I stood in long queues for days and always returned home with the same answer that my file is missing. Nobody wanted to do anything on this and shouted back saying that my file is missing and we need time to search. Isn't that BULL S***? This proves their irresponsibility and inefficiency in managing things. They are just made for eating making others life disgusting. I had no other options, i was running out of time. Finally i met an agent and he helped me in getting my passport where i paid 4000 INR. The missing file came visible from no where and i got my passport in 3 days time. If this is what is happening, India is not going to reach anywhere. All illiterates and stupids ruling the country is gonna take India nowhere. The funniest part is, everybody knows what is happening, But there is no solution for this. I really really appreciate the brains behind such a website and i certainly believe that this could make a difference. Am now a student in Australia and i am really surprising to come across the rules here. You break the law, u are punished. That is how it has to be everywhere, rather than following the rules that were designed 20 years back. Revise the rules, impose it on everyone. Let people be fined huge rather than 50 or 100 INR. I know this article cannot create a difference, but i extend all my support to this website.

Thank *******
