Hello,
I am student currently visiting my home town in Indore. While, my passport is expiring next year, I thought to get it renewed under Tatkaal scheme. I approached to my nearest police station to get verification certificate, which is required. To ********** amazement the clerk there asked "sir thoda bahut karcha pani dena padega" I was shocked because, it was a simple one page document that even I typed and brought for TI's signature. He said, "hum tau vese uske ********** bhi kaam karte hai, par kya hai ki thoda time lag jata hai. baki aap dekh lo". Finding no way, i gave him Rs 100.. To my further amazement, he started laughing on me by saying "sab konse duniya mai rahatae ho.. 100 se kuch nahi hota.. vese tau hum 1000 lete hai par aap 500 de do" i went all the way to home and brought 500 for him. after accepting that so blatantly around other policemen he gave me his cell phone number and said call by evening to get your work done. i am so super ********** off :(
