I was asked to pay bribe to get a ration card.But I refused.After 8 to 10 visits and waiting for 3 months I got frustrated and visited the officer with my wife and 1yr old kid.we had to explain him that unless he issues a ration card we wont be getting the Gas connection and we are facing lot of difficulty in providing cooked food for our kid.Atlast he signed and got the card immediately.patience had paid:)
