There was no water in the taps in the HBR layout 3rd stage for over 3 years. We regularly kept paying the bills and kept raising complaints on the BWSSB portal. Everytime the ticket used to be closed as resolved. Interactions with the JE and AEE were of no impact. According to them they were passing the blame and when contacting the JE the first time, the mobile phone was answered by the lineman and assurance was given that everything will be okay. Nothing happened. We were running from pillar to post and nothing happened. Out of frustration we wrote to the Commissioner of BWSSB. The phones were not attended by any of the officers and was answered by the peons. The commissioner was not reachable over phone and the PA to the commissioner was helpless.

Fortunately we were able to get in touch with Addl. Chief Engineer Mr. Babu Kumar on March 18

Mr Babu Kumar could not believe that there was no water supply in HBR layout 3rd stage, when there was so much of water.

With the personal intervention of Mr. Babu Kumar the water supply was restored to the entire lane.

We thank Mr. Babu Kumar and hope and pray that more officers in govt departments emulate him and come down to the groun level and interact with the customers.
