Chennai Autos and Taxis are the most disorganised and badly behaved operators in India or even the World. NOT A SINGLE VEHICLE RUNS ON METER, SHAME ON THE GOVERNMENT AND THE SO CALL TRANSPORT MINISTRY. It's an indirect bribe that we pay everytime we travel, however we can't blame them alone when the whole system runs this way - May be this needs to start here...........
