Given the on-going demolition drive in Bangalore-
We need to look at the stretch between Bellandur railway station and Varthur village.

The fields adjoining the connecting road were wetlands that soak water. For years, i have seen trucks dumping landfill in these wet lands. In the last two years, the road have lined up with builders building apartment complexes.
These wetlands have been killed partially and is again a case where builders had to work in connivance wiht authorities to get clearances
