Blatant corruption at Sub-registrar office

Hello,

When we sold our flat in Bangalore and went for the property registration with the buyer to the sub-registrar's office in Indira Nagar we were amazed to know and see the following:

1. The sub-registrar was missed for several hours and were informed that madam is away for some personal work and will arrive later in the day

2. Madam sub-registrar of Indira Nagar arrives in a Red Audi Q3 later in the day and I was amazed to see this. We were wondering if madam has the income to afford such a luxury car and driver

3. We were discreetly informed that madam sub-registrar has family members among her staff!

This is blatant corruption and I am amazed at how visibly all this is being done. I am sure there is a high degree of corruption in property registration processes with nexus between brokers and sub-registrar/registrar of properties. I did not catch the name of the sub-registrar but can confirm that its lady and she has an Audi Q3 and was working at the Indira Nagar office in May 2016. Also I am not sure how the broker paid her as bribe for signing the documents (note - the amount mentioned is just to complete the form).
