My father expired in 2005 and recently i tried to transfer the title of my house on my name. For the above, muncipal dept asked me for family member certificate and even after me, my sister and my mom were physically present before the officer --- that guy asked whats the guarantee. He demanded 15,000/- so that i need not take leave for 10days (else he said, he'll come to my house and enquire about me and confirm - till that time i've to be there in my home town). I had no option but to pay him....!!!!
