Bribe demanded after Tatkal passport was received.

Despite doing all the formalities for Tatkal passport on my own including having gone personally to Bareilly for the same; a week after I received my passport by mail, an Official from the passport office Dehradun arrived and demanded for bribe, which if denied, he subtly threatened to send back a negative report to the office, leading to the cancellation of my passport. By the time I had already gotten the visa for the trip, for which I had to rush up for the passport and could not afford any more trouble, so I ended up paying the official a 1000 rupees.
