Bribe demanded at Koramangala 6th Block Police Station for passport re-issue verification

Police Officer at Koramangala 6th Block called me up on 12th February, 2011 and asked me if I shall be at home for passport verification (passport re-issue)...I told him that I shall be at home all day and he can visit any time. Then he asked me to come to the police station as he was occupied. He asked for a "fee" of Rs.200. I had all the documents in order so there was absolutely no need for anything...they are simply corrupt and think its a process and their right to demand bribes for passport verification...
