So we wanted to do a construction out here in Chennai and ever since the Government change here, this is our first application to the chennai DA. After reworking on the scrutiny of the plan, we were awaiting the seal to start construction on the parcel of land, we were told by the planners that they cannot issue the seal till they receive a call from the local home minister!!! So here we are finally, met him after meeting his PA blah blah.... No negotiation for the bribe, one amount, one shot payment made.. And waiting for the clearance now.. Such is the sad state of affairs if you want to build in your own land, can't move a finger without bribing these local goons who run our state....
