Hello Together,
Our house drainage pipe was blocked and all the toilets was not usable and we have aged people in our house. This pipe passes through a cross road to the drainage chamber. We needed to cut the road and install the new pipe. For this we needed BBMP (Bruhat Bengaluru metropolitan P) corporator's permission. After several attempts in vain to get NOC for this from the corporator, the corporator herself gave a BBMP engineer's reference to contact regarding this. He told a story the regarding the process for getting the NOC from BBMP and he said that it will take 2 weeks to get the NOC. Then he offered to get the NOC if we pay Rs.10000 as bribe which will be distributed among themselves (himself, corporator, local agents who are Chelas of these idiots). We didn't had any other way except to pay that because the house's toilet is the main thing. We were forced to pay the bribe. Also those engineer speaks some foul language.
