I was called for police verification for my wife's new passport. we went there to present the required documents and after the required documents are presented, the police personal asked for some money towards what he called 'chai pani' and was demanding min 100rs towards that.

when everyone in government knows that these police verfications are just for process and nothing useful, then instead of encouraging why shouldnt they remove this.
