Hie... this thing happened in 2009 when was at thane police station to verify my credentials for passport. They inquired about my family, why you want a passport etc etc. After answering all the genuine questions, they asked me to pay 100 Rps.. ! I didnt understand why did they ask for money... Why are the questioning and taking the money at the same time..... they just want to showoff that they r doing their duty... thats pathetic... seriously.... i needed my passport anyhow so without asking the reason for 100 rupees i just handed over the money and left...
