Bribe still needs to be paid in Medical Council of India

Reported on September 25, 2010 from New Delhi , Delhi  ι Report #30685

Bribe still needs to be paid in Medical Council of India office for getting various certificates like "certificate of good standing" inspite of forming new governing body by the Govt. Of India after the President of Medical Council of India was arrested. I had to pay bribe of Rs.3000 to Mr.L ********** who is an official of Medical Council of India for getting the certificate of good standing. The medical councils of other countries issue this certificate in 3 to 5 days, but Medical Council of India takes anywhere between 20 to 30 days for this. The doctors working overseas cannot practice without this certificate and its really urgent certificate. Since Mr.L ********** knows this, he is taking advantage of this by purposefully delaying to issue the certificate so that few people will come to him and pay him to get it done earlier. Someone can carry a sting operation to prove this and expose this. Hope this message will be spread everywhere so that he will stop taking bribe at least after he is ashamed of damaging his name and reputation of Medical Council of *******
