- Transfer of Ration Card
- Paid INR 2,500
I had to transfer my ration card from Bandra (east) Kherwadi office to Borivali East office. When I asked for what all papers are required I was told that only address proof is required. I gave them my Mobile bill and Electricity bill still they were saying that bring bank acoount details and others. Then someone told me that the Rationing shop will help me. I went to that place in kandivali east and was told that it requires only ********** papers (Bribe). when I asked how much I was told earlier for 3500 but I negotiated and brought it down to 2500 next day I had my ration card which was transfered to borivali office.
This could have been avoided by having a online system whereby the person enters the details online and then it is verified by the government official and the ration card is posted to teh consumer.
