Demanded 2500 and finally paid 1000 for my Marriage Certificate
Incident happened in sub register office in Thakattur which is coming under Thirithuraipoondi district, tamil nadu. I applied for a marriage certificate with proper proof and proper witness to confirm. But they have asked Rs.100 for the application form and to process it 100 for computer assistant and 200 for the person who didi stamping and make entry in the register. And finally the officer who has to sign was demanded for Rs 2000 to complete the process and we gave Rs 500. In addition to this, they have agreement with nearby type writing centre. bribe for them to fill the necessary document is Rs 100. Here the final worst things that officer was fully drunk by evening itself.
