On my weekend trip to Hogenakkal about 180 km from bangalore, at the entry point there was a baricade put up and we were charged entry fee(I dont know why this is taken). Next to the collectors sat an RTO officer in uniform and asked me to put down my car number and sign a register. After that he asked me for money. I asked why is this needed I got a strange answer "Consider it as a TIP". I tried to not pay the sum but I was not allowed entry. Even though it was a mere 10 rupee but it was still a *******
