I went to Revathi Agencies of Bharat Gas in Hafeezpet, Andhra Pradesh…

I went to Revathi Agencies of Bharat Gas in Hafeezpet, Andhra Pradesh to get a new LPG connection. The dealer (Revathi Agencies) forcefully tried to sell to me stove(burner), lighter and some other stuff. When I told him that I already have a stove he said I wont get a LPG connection unless I bought the stove and other stuff from him.
Upon telling him that it is illegal to do so he yelled upon me and humiliated me in front of all the other people present there. When I still resisted he said that the mechanic will come to my house in a month to check my existing gas stove and it will take another month for the report(regarding the fitment of my stove) to come.
His tone was so condescending that it became obvious that the result of the report would not be in my favour and it will invariably say that my stove is defective.
Being a family guy I had no option but to face the insult and succumb to purchase stove from the dealer(Revathi Agencies)as I couldnt risk waiting for 2 months without food being cooked at my house.
I was forced to pay Rs. 5800 of which only Rs. 1600 is the deposit. The rest went as BRIBE TO REVATHI AGENCIES, Hafeezpet, A.P.
I am quite sure that my ranting over here also wont accomplish ANYTHING and NO ACTION will be taken against the said distributor, but it feels better to let out my feelings.
I am fed up of this type of corruption day in and day out.
