Gatepass Validator ORDERED me to pay!!

I accompanied my friend to yesvantpur station in bangalore to get his bike, which he had sent as parcel/luggage from kozhikode. One officer issued a gatepass, and immediately one guy in police dress, who told he had to make entry in a notebook, made entry and told us sternly to give him 50 rupees. We had to give him, else he would then not tell us where the bike was kept!!
