To get renewed Passport quicker

My son had to travel to a foreign country and his passport had expired. We had to pay a bribe of Rs.5000/- to get his passport quickly. Had no other option otherwise it would have taken atlease a mont h more and he would not have been able to travel. Didnt want to pay but had no other option.
