Goons or Public Servants
We were travelling from Ahmadabad to Mumbai and had tickets till Mumbai central, but we decided to get off at Dadar (prior station to Mumbai Central). Now there was this Railway official whom we approached to ask for directions for road towards Swaminarayan Temple and he in return asked for tickets. We showed our tickets and he asked us to come to his office and there he threatened us that we violated some stupid law of getting of at Dadar with Central ticket (why can not we get off on earlier station if we decide to), then he demanded money or we will have to stay in his office or even face charges. Initially we asked him for logic behind this and argument, but we were really getting late and had Visa interview scheduled. So we said ok now we are here what are further steps, and he demanded whatever money we have, we asked for the receipt and he threatened us again, so save time and headache we just got out of there.
Please have under cover team at Dadar to catch this stupid person. I could have fought legal battle against him if my friend with me was not giving up or if I would have been local Mumbaians.
