HAd to pay money to get the land record transferred to my name

• Paid INR 15,000

We bought a property in 2008 august
we completed the registration formalities with the Talati immediately. The talati took Rs 5000 for the job.
The sarpanch demanded Rs 25,000 to transfer the land deed in our name. We tried to bargain and paid Rs 15000.

the story is the same for every small government work.
People say corruption is not so bad. i can say 99% of govt transactions like i mentioned are done through bribes
