The officer was from the Ulsoor police station. Name was Manjunath H M.. Just demanded Rs. 1000/- after the job was done. As I am a college student, and studying for TOEFL exams, I did not resist, but gave the bribe. They have taken Rs. 500/- from me. This appears to be standard practice which needs to be curbed - public pay fearing that their passport might get delayed if the bribe is not paid.
