My disastrous night out in a forest.

Me n 4 of my friends (2 girls incl.) had been to a nearby forest range in Tumkur @ night in a car (don't remember the exact month or **********). It was may be 12:30 AM when we wanted rest due to long journey. We halted in a deserted room (police limits) near a barricade in the forest for a campfire. We then confronted a pack of police men, and the inspector got out of the Hoysala with a loaded Revolver (in their defense). Then they started questioning us as to why we were out there so late. We replied that we were just tourists (we didn't know it was restricted area @ night). Then they started to abuse us, harass us, and man-handle us, incl. girls, with their fiber clubs. They used utterly disgraceful slangs and doubted the girls as prostitutes and us as their customers.

We were picked up to their station in Hoysala, locked in the cellar for a few hours before we could do or say anything. Finally we could only get us all out by talking money. They took our Camera in to their custody, until we paid them the bribe in the morning. Could not sleep that day due to intolerable pain.

They got to know that we were just there to find some wild animals, within 5 minutes of enquiry, as we were well dressed and also carried water bottles and a Digital camera (with pics of forest, some wild animals, and ourselves posing). I think all that they should have done is warn us correctly about the place (it was okay even if we had to go to the police station for that), instead of hitting, kicking and man-handling us, and finally collecting bribe. We did do a small mistake, but that was a very heavy fine to pay.

NOTE: They scared us by saying that they were gonna set us up with some false case, and eventually got us in to what I have mentioned above.
