I am constructing a house in Nolambur village near Chennai. The Nolambur Panchayat President demanded 75000 to sign the building plan approval. Inspite of repeated requests and pleadings he refused to budge and I had to get the building plan approval only by paying a bribe of Rs.45000 after much bargaining. Now the house is being constructed and I had to once again get the Panchayat President's consent for a sewer line connection, for which he has demanded a flat rate of Rs.25000, I am aghast at the very thought being pushed to the miserable situation of going and begging before this uneducated political burglar who has been licenced by our government to snatch away our hard earned money. If this is not sufficient, the local ward member, another illiterate, uncivilised fellow has been fleecing me to pay him too. These political idiots think it is their right to demand bribe from us. I cannot stop writing about these political thiefs who are fit for no other job other than politics.
