I went to the registrar office in byatarayanapura Bangalore. Here the town planning Engineer has standard rates for all site dimensions. I told him I want approval for my house construction then he asked me to contact an agent for all the formalities. The contractor told me the fee. I tried negotiating with the town planning Engg he told me it is strict and the amount is not negotiable as he has to feed others also. He got the approval in under 5 min. So I had to pay him bribe to get house approval.
