I received a call for police verification for renewal of my passport. I visited the police station with a witness as requested on call. I provided all the documents and details requested by the police office in-charge. I don't know his name, but he is on duty at XXXX He asked me to pay Rs. 200/- as a bribe to send the police verification report to passport authorities. I refused to pay the bribe. The police officer started using abusive and rough language (like Dafol (Idiot)). He said come on another day and bring your neighbor as a witness. Its the worst experience I have ever had. They ask for bribe like a bagger. This should be stopped.
