I applied for passport and received a visit by police constable (Harinarayan) to come for physical verification. When I went to police station, i was asked to submit various documents which are not at all mentioned in the passport procedure, even after being ready with all documents, i was asked by constable to tender 500 rupees otherwise my verification process will take longer and longer and constable will proceed only after getting report from all the police stations where ever I have been since my birth. This is ridiculous and unnecessary impediments created by constable. I am afraid that if complaint about this to Thana Inspector my passport will be unnecessarily delayed.
