First time inside a Police Station to submit tenant verification form. I get bluntly asked for a bribe. I was a little taken aback, should I take pay a bribe INSIDE a police station? To play safe, I pretended I did not understand. The policeman said loudly, 'kuch lagega'. I, not wanting to argue, took out 50 Rupees, to which he cringed and said the rate is Rs200, ask anybody. Stupefied, I quickly conclude the transaction and got out as quickly as I could.

Sorry! I did not have the courage to pick up another rebellion.
