Rs. 10 for a bribe, I pay a beggar more as he needs it.

I was a student back in 2008 in Nagpur when I was randomly stopped for a licence check. I was asked my license and papers. I had my license but I had carried photocopies of my bike documents. I was asked to get original documents from hostel and collect the license from Laxminagar Police station. I was asked to pay for getting the license back. Even though all the docs were in place I was forced to pay Rs. 10 to the hawaldar, he accepted 10 because I told I have just Rs. 20 and was headed for my classes.

How terrible is it to think that he accepted 10, when I happily pay more to a needy beggar.
