I recently bought a flat and was asked to pay 10K as miscellenous expenses, when asked the details I was told it was needed to pay else your registration will get delayed by months.

To my surprise, inside the registration office at Goregaon(W), the guy (Registrar)was publicly taking money from the agents and keeping in the drawer under the table, as if we was a shopkeeper and you are paying for some things you have purchased from his shop.

I haven't seen anyone in my life taking bribes publicly like this ever before. It was a shock of my life...
